Universal mounts are another popular mounting solution. They are a wonderful alternative to our vechicle specific mounts (VSMs).
The main difference between our VSMs and our universal mounts is their method of mounting. The VSMs mount with
hardware behind the dash bezel, whereas the universal mounts attach to the dash or console with a flexible adhesive pad.
This difference allows our universal mounts to be compatible with any vehicle. Excluding the WindowMate*, all
universal mounts are created with an automotive 3M adhesive that is specifically designed to prevent damage
to the dash. They are also designed to be easily removed without leaving any residue. All universal mounts are
compatible with all holders.
