The UltiMount V2 provides a convenient and simple way to mount mobile electronics in any vehicle. It is ideal with mounting cradles for smartphones, mp3 players, PDAs, GPS units, satellite radios and other handheld devices. The V2 can be installed in minutes and can be adjusted to virtually any position.

Attach the UltiMount V2 to the dashboard or console with the 3M adhesive specifically formulated for automobile use. The strong 3M adhesive is a one-time application that ensures the V2 will stay put on the mounting surface. The UltiMount V2 can be removed without damage to the vehicle interior.

The pivoting head and reversible extension arm on the UltiMount V2 allow it to be mounted in a variety of orientations within a vehicle. The extension arm can be angled toward the dash, away from the dash, or can be completely removed for a low-profile mount.

The UltiMount V2 incorporates the industry standard AMPS hole pattern so most accessories or holders can be used.

Included with the UltiMount V2 are two adhesive backed buttons. Also included is a specially formulated Surface Prep Kit used to remove dirt and silicon emulsions from your dash to ensure maximum adhesion.

The UltiMount V2 installs in seconds and can be swiveled, rotated and adjusted to virtually any position. Secured with a flexible pad that has 3M automotive adhesive on the back for easy one-time application. The UltiMount mount can be removed without leaving any sticky residue and reinstalled in another vehicle using a replacement Flex Pad.

Read the instructions for the UltiMount V2 to ensure maximum adhesion. Simply clean the mounting location with the included Surface Prep Kit and dry with a clean towel. The Prep Kit is specially formulated to remove dirt and silicone emulsions like Armor All© from your dash.

Next, clean the same area with the included alcohol pad and dry again with the towel. Remove the Flex Pad from the UltiMount V2. Peel the tape off the adhesive, press to the mounting location and apply firm pressure. 3M recommends that the adhesive "cure" for 72 hours before using. Although this is hard to do, it's really a good idea and well worth the wait. Installation is really that easy.

The UltiMount can be quickly reconfigured for nearly any vehicle with only a Phillips screwdriver. Some of the configurations are as follows:

1. This is the standard configuration the UltiMount is packaged in. The Locking Lever frees the holder so it may be adjusted for the best view and device operation.
   
   
2. In this configuration, the Flex Pad has been flipped to the opposite side of the extension area. Remove the Cap and the hidden screw to remove the Flex Pad. Place the Flex Pad on the opposite side of the Extension Arm and replace the screw.
   
   
3. This is a short configuration with the Extension Arm removed. A good choice when you don't need the extra length the Extension Arm provides. First remove the flex pad as described in step B. Then unlock the lever and rotate the ball until the screw hole is exposed. With a phillips screwdriver remove the screw connecting the Ball Stem to the extension arm. Once separated, insert the ball stem into to the top of the flex pad, reinsert the screw, and tighten.
   
   
4. If you are installing a car kit or other type of holder, the face plate is easily removed to reveal an AMPS compatible hole pattern. This hole pattern is the industry standard for these types of holders. Remove the four Phillips screws below the Locking Lever and the face plate will come off.
