How Does it Look? A custom mount (VSM-G3) and
miniGRIP Universal Holder

The following sequence of photos shows how a VSM-G3 custom mounting
bracket looks when installed
Attached to the custom bracket is the (MI-200) miniGRIP Universal Holder

The VSM-G3 custom mount uses a 17mm ball and will directly accept a
variety of holders including the miPRO 150, 250 and 450 plus any Garmin Nuvi

Photo 1:
This image shows the dash trim removed so that the
VSM-G3 can be securely attached. If hardware is required, as in this photo, detailed instructions are provided for proper and
safe mounting placement.
VSM-G3 mounting brackets may vary in look and where they
are installed based on the make and model vehicle.

online that include details and photos.

Photo 2:
This image shows the VSM-G3 custom bracket installed with the
dash trim back in place. This now provides a strong mounting platform.
Notice the size and how clean and unobtrusive the bracket becomes.
At this point, just the ball is exposed and ready for the Lock Plate. Also, the 17mm ball will directly accept any Garmin Nuvi GPS unit.

Photo 3:
This image shows the completed VSM-G3 installation with the Lock Plate. This plate has the AMPS hole pattern which accepts nearly any phone cradle, holder or cell phone booster. The Lock Plate has a twist to tighten collar on the back to 'lock' into any position. The Lock Plate and whatever holder is attached to it can easily be removed by loosening the collar and pulling off the ball.

This image shows the completed VSM-G3 installation with the Lock Plate and adapter plate which is required for attaching the miniGRIP (Included with purchase of miniGRIP). The body of the miniGRIP is placed onto the adapter and snaps up or down onto the 4 tabs to lock into position.
